Chapter 16
"Just doing whatever!"
The next morning Stephanie woke up in Chris’ arms. He was holding her and looking out the window at the ocean. “Hey babe, did you sleep here all night?” Stephanie asked in a sleepy voice as her stretched and sat up. “Yeah I did.” Chris smiled. “Cool.” she said stretching and then put her stretched out arms around Chris. “I love you!” he said returning the hug. “I love you too!” she said as she snuggled by him again. They sat and talked for a few minutes when Matt came in the room. “You guys better get up, Claudia is in Jesse’s room and is about to come in this one!” Matt said. Chris got up and got to the mirror just in time. Claudia walked in. “Good morning everybody!” she said, “I was helping Nikki and them get their luggage out. They wanted their own room and the kept begging, so we got them one. Sorry they won’t be staying with you guys anymore.” “Yeah we are too!” Chris lied and put on a fake frown. “Yeah!” Matt and Stephanie agreed lying also. “Ok, well we don’t really have anything to do today so you guys can just hang out up her, go swimming, whatever!” Claudia said, “I’m going because we have work even thought you don’t.” she smiled. “Ok bye.” they said and Claudia left. “YEAH!!! The snobs aren’t staying here anymore!!” Stephanie said as she got up. They went into the living area where Frankie was still asleep and everyone else was sitting around talking, and some were eating cereal. “Did ya’ll here the good news?” Chris asked going into the kitchen. “Yeah! We will have a lot more fun with out those brats in our rooms!” Jesse said as he put his arm around Kim. “Are you guys like a couple now?” Stephanie asked as she sat down in a chair and popped a grape in her mouth. “Yeah.” Kim said smiling, “It sort of happened last night at dinner.” “You miss a lot of good things when you are a party pooper!” Stephanie laughed along with everyone else. Then Stephanie mouthed out to Chris who was walking to where everyone was, ‘Told ya they’d get together.’ He smiled and mouthed back, ‘Yep.’ nodding his head. He came over to her and then whispered in her ear, “And look at Britney and Greg flirting and hitting it off!” he said then got one of her grapes. “Yeah.” she whispered back, “And don’t eat my grapes!” she said out loud, laughing. “Ugh! Fine!” Chris said acting like he was mad, then took another one and kissed her. “Ok, fine I’ll share.” she said and put a grape in Chris’ mouth. “Romantic!” Chris grinned. “Ha Ha!!” she laughed and kissed his cheek. Then they all started talking about what they wanted to do.
They decided to get ready and go to the beach and after the beach go cruising down the strip and just hang. The girls went and changed in one room and the guys in the other; of course the guys were ready and sitting waiting for the girls. Then all the girls came out except Stephanie. “Baby you look good!” Frankie said to Ashley who had a purple bikini on with a matching cover. Savannah had a pink bikini on and Britney and Kayla had on matching suites. Sweet Candy each had on a bikini that was exactly the same except for the color. “Well all the guys got their girls except me! Where is Steph?” Chris asked. “Right here!” Stephanie said as she walked out in a lime green bikini with matching flip flops and a skirt cover; her hair was down and her sunglasses were on her head, and her lips had a glossy look. “Dang!!!” Greg said. “Dude?” Chris said looking at Greg with a weird smile. “Sorry.” Greg laughed quietly. “Babe you look...you look...HOT!!” Chris said approaching her and kissing her. After the kiss she said, “Thanks, but I’m quite cool!” she laughed. “You know what I mean!” Chris smiled at her. She smiled back and then gave him a quick kiss. Jesse thought to himself, ‘She’s Chris’ now! Kim...Kim...Kim!’ he repeated in his head; then he said, “Ok guys let’s go!!”
They went out on the beach and set up a place for them. Everyone went separate ways. Chris and Stephanie were walking on the beach talking and playing. “Hey!” Stephanie said as Chris playfully kicked water on her. “Uh!!” Chris said as she got him back. He grabbed her up in his arms, spinning her around. He sat her down and they gazed into each other’s eyes. Chris kissed her, but it felt different, to both of them. If felt like they would never stop loving each other. They stopped and Stephanie said. “Did you feel that?” “Yeah!” Chris replied with a smile. “I love you SO much!” Stephanie said hugging him. “I love you too! With all my heart!” Chris said embracing the hug.
Later, after about four hours, they all got back together and decided to go in and get ready to go. It was about three o’clock. Again the guys were ready first and were talking and waiting for the girls. They heard them giggling and talking about what to wear, trading clothes, make-up, fixing each other’s hair. “I like girls! The are fascinating to watch! And not because they are hot, but just interesting!” Jesse laughed; the guys laughed along with him. “Hey you guys, um I have this to give to Stephanie.” Chris said as he held out a silver ring with a real diamond chip in it. “Wow! She’ll love it!” they all said. “I hope so, I just love her so much and I want this to be a promise ring; to promise her I’ll never stop loving her!” Chris said, getting a little emotional. “Aw! Dude that is sweet!” Matt said. Then the girls came out. “What is sweet?” Wendy asked. “Oh nothing!” Chris said as he put the ring in his pocket. “Ok. Let’s go!” Steph said as Chris got up and grabbed her hand. They all went out the door. “Should we invite Lindsey and them?” Kim asked as they passed their room. “Nah! If they get out of our rooms, they are out of our fun!” Jesse said. Everyone laughed.
They were all walking down the sidewalk chatting about stuff! They walked to this little place that was like a park, but if you looked out you could see the ocean. They all sat down still talking. “Steph come here a second.” Chris said as he got up and lead Stephanie away over to a bench. After they were gone Matt said to the guys, “Oh dude! He’s gonna give it to her!” “Give her what?” the girls asked. “You’ll see!” Greg said and they all went back to talking, glancing over at Chris and Steph every few minutes.
Chris and Stephanie were sitting on a bench watching the sun set. Stephanie’s head was leaning on Chris’ shoulder and he had his arms around her. “Stephanie.” Chris said and she sat up and looked at him. “Yeah?” she asked. “Ok...um...I want to give you something.” he said as he reached in his pocket; he pulled out the ring. “This is a promise ring, to promise I’ll always love you!” Chris said as he took Stephanie’s left hand and put the ring on her ring finger. “Oh Chris it is beautiful!! I love it!! I love you!! This is so sweet!! You didn’t have to do this.” Stephanie said. “I wanted to! I love you so much and want you to know that my love for you will last forever!” Chris said. “I love you too!!” Stephanie said as she kissed him, “I’ll love you until the ocean stops touching the sand!” she said as she cuddled back up beside him. He smiled and kissed her head. He wrapped his arms around her and they looked out over the ocean!
“Hey guys we’re going to the Henna Tattoos shop!” Frankie yelled to Chris and Stephanie. “Ok.” Chris yelled back as he and Stephanie got up and walked over to them. As they started walking over to the shop Stephanie was showing the girls her ring. “I think it is so sweet he did that.” Savannah said. “I know!” Ashley said, “Chris you’re so sweet!” she told him. “Thanks.” he smiled them put his arm around Stephanie. They all walked in the shop. “Hi! How may I help you?” a lady said. “Yeah we all want a tattoo.” Jesse said. “Ok.” she said. Everyone found a seat. “Wanna get matching ones?” Chris asked Stephanie. “Of course!” she smiled in reply. They decided to each get a heart. Chris’ with Stephanie written inside; Stephanie’s with Chris written inside. Everyone was getting a tattoo; Sweet Candy all had the band name written; Greg had Ladies Man; everyone else got pictures drawn. After they were done the lady said, “Ok they can’t get wet for eleven hours.” “Ok.” they all said and paid and left.
When they got back to the hotel, Matt saw Britney and Greg holding hands. “Greg. You guys a couple?” he asked. “Yeah.” Greg said and smiled at Britney. Everyone went in and sat down. Then Claudia came in, “Ok guys! You’re first concert is the 15th!! Day after tomorrow!!” “Cool!” they all said, then Claudia left. Everyone got ready for bed then sat around talking. Stephanie kissed Chris then the girls went into Steph’s room to talk. “Ok wanna know what I got Chris for Valentine’s Day?” Stephanie whispered to the girls as they sat around in her room. “Yeah!” they all said. “Ok. I wrote him a poem and I’m going to put it in a box of candy.” she said. “Aw!! Can we hear the poem?” Britney asked. “Sure!” she said and went to get it. When she came back she sat down and said, “Ok, it is dingy, but here it goes.” she said as she prepared to read it.

“So do you think he’ll like it?” she asked as she looked at them. “Oh my gosh! Yes, he’ll love it!” Ashley said. “That is so sweet!!” Savannah said. They all agreed and started talking.
While the girls were talking the guys were talking. “Ok so I’m gonna have a picnic set up out on the beach, with candles, rose petals, music and have her a dozen red roses and a box of chocolates. And all of this at sunset, because she loves the sun set so much!” Chris was telling the guys what he was planning for him and Stephanie for Valentine’s Day. “Aw dude!” they all said. “Yeah, but will you guys help me by distracting her while I set it up tomorrow?” he asked. They agreed to help.
Later on Chris went into the room where Stephanie and Savannah were. They were singing M2M’s song, “Don’t Mess With My Love.” ‘They sound great together!’ Chris thought to himself. He walked in and the girls stopped. “Oh hey baby!” Stephanie said and got up and hugged him. “Hey! You know you guys sound good.” “What, you heard us?” Savannah laughed. “Yeah! Ya’ll sound great!” he replied. “No we don’t, we were just playing around.” Stephanie said. “No you guys do! I want you guys to sing for our manager!” Chris said smiling. “What? No we can’t do that!” Savannah said, “You can’t tell anyone!” she laughed. “Oh guys please! Just once for me!” Chris begged. “Aw! Savannah I’m about to give in!! He’s doing the puppy dog eyes!!” Stephanie said, “Ok we will!!” Stephanie said before Savannah could stop her. “Stephy!!” Savannah said. “I know, we can do it once. But that’s it!” Stephanie said looking at Chris. “Yes, once is all he’ll need to love you guys!” he said. “Ok, I give. But no one else can be in there!” Savannah said. “Deal!” Chris said. “But after the concert!” Stephanie said. “Ok.” Chris said. “Well I’m tired.” Savannah said yawning. “Yeah me too.” Stephanie agreed. Savannah left and Chris and Stephanie went to sleep.
